The Retail Sales Associate focuses on creating an outstanding customer experience by fostering a positive, inviting, and fun environment for clients. This includes developing enthusiastic and knowledgeable sales professionals who understand the client, product presentation, and shop standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  1. Drive sales and deliver refined customer service.
  2. Develop strategies to achieve sales results through customer service and store events.
  3. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, shop standards, policies, procedures, and upcoming promotions.
  4. Ensure a consistent, quality experience for customers.
  5. Greet guests and assist with Hub activities as needed.
  6. Create custom gift assortments to meet guest needs.
  7. Resolve customer issues with outstanding service and diplomacy.
  8. Apply strategic thinking and personal ownership to sales growth.
  9. Coach and support team members in achieving sales goals.
  10. Maintain communication with the team and participate in weekly meetings.
  11. Implement visual presentation and merchandising standards.
  12. Work independently when necessary, taking ownership of shop and merchandise.
  13. Assist with inventory management and provide product feedback.
  14. Collaborate with buyer and marketing on website, newsletter, and e-marketing.
  15. Maintain merchandise and shop organization.
  16. Assist guests throughout the facilities.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures. Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of customer service or retail experience.

Computer Skills:

  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Knowledge of POS, inventory systems, Excel, Word, Outlook.

Language Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Basic math skills.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Judgment and decision-making based on job knowledge and company goals.

Physical Demands:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Operate company vehicle or golf cart safely.

Work Environment:

  • Located on 5,200 acres of Blackberry Mountain property.
