Norman Love Confections is looking to hire a Full-Time Retail Associate at our Sarasota location. The Retail Associate is directly responsible for ensuring a positive guest experience. Starting wage is $14.00 per hour PLUS TIPS

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities for the Retail Associate include but are not limited to the following.

Customer Service:

• Responsible for personally displaying strong customer service skills at all times and ensuring that the customer and their experience remain the top priority.
• Responsible for ensuring that we are exceeding the customers’ expectations in terms of product selection / availability, product placement and knowledgeable, engaging employees.

Sales & Financial:

• Responsible for knowing the daily, weekly and monthly sales goal within your store.
• Responsible for utilizing product knowledge and sales training to increase confidence when working with customers and as a result help maximize sales revenue.

Business Operations:

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the stores.
• Responsible to ensure that the store opening / closing tasks assigned are completed accurately and to the company’s standards.
• Responsible for the execution of any additional operations plans that are developed and / or assigned by the Store Manager on a daily, weekly or ongoing basis.

Training & Development:

• Responsible to always learn about our existing product line as well as specialty / seasonal products so that you can be knowledgeable when taking care of our customers.

Schedule Expectations:

The Retail Associate is responsible for clearly communicating their availability to their Store Manager for scheduling purposes. Everyone plays a critical role in ensuring that our guests have the best possible experience and as a result, everyone is scheduled to be at work for all of their scheduled shifts.
