General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures a positive shopping experience for customers by greeting them courteously, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation. The role involves performing various tasks across store areas as needed and supporting customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety, practicing safe behaviors at all times.
• Maintain awareness on the sales floor to ensure a safe environment.
• Greet customers courteously, assist with merchandise, and answer questions knowledgeably.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and issues, involving leadership when necessary.
• Support brand representation and maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, organized store.
• Merchandise received stock promptly and according to standards.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safeguard confidential information.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maximize productivity by executing store best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Physical Requirements/ADA

• Ability to use store equipment, including registers and PCs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to lift and push/pull over 25 pounds as needed.
• Specific requirements for stockroom shifts include lifting over 20 pounds.
