General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience by greeting them courteously, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation. The role involves performing various tasks across store areas as needed, with additional tasks assigned to support customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and maintain a secure shopping environment.
• Maintain a clutter-free store, correct unsafe conditions, and report hazards.
• Provide courteous customer service, assist with merchandise, and handle transactions professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization, including cleaning tasks and merchandise recovery.
• Support loss prevention efforts and safeguard confidential information.
• Follow policies on merchandise disposal, cash handling, and store procedures.
• Maximize productivity by executing store best practices efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

Physical Requirements / ADA

• Ability to use store equipment and spend significant time standing, walking, and moving.
