General Purpose

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. This includes greeting customers courteously, maintaining a clean and organized store, ensuring proper merchandise presentation, and performing various operational tasks as needed to support store functions and customer service.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors at all times.
• Maintain a safe shopping environment by keeping the sales floor clutter-free and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and courteously, involving leadership when necessary.
• Support brand representation and uphold company standards in appearance and conduct.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold store hygiene and presentation standards.
• Ensure merchandise is well-organized, replenished, and presented according to company guidelines.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safeguard company assets and information.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, following all cash handling policies.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and maximize productivity in daily tasks.

Qualifications And Skills

• Effective communication with customers, team members, and leadership.

Physical Requirements/ADA

• Ability to operate store equipment and spend most of the time standing, walking, or moving around.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop as needed.
• Ability to lift and push/pull over 25 pounds regularly.
• Specific requirements for stockroom shifts include lifting over 20 pounds.
