Position Summary

The Retail Associate collaborates with management to ensure guests receive excellent hospitality and a positive cannabis experience. Responsibilities include answering questions about cannabis laws, participating in community events, working all front-of-house (FOH) stations such as Reception, Hosting, Sales Floor/Consulting, and Cashiering, as well as assisting with product organization, inventory, and guest communication. They also work back-of-house (BOH) stations like Receiving, Packaging, Stocking, Online Ordering, and Delivery.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Follow all site protocols, procedures, and regulations
• Act as a Mission brand ambassador with authentic engagement
• Provide excellent guest service, offering product recommendations and industry insights
• Accurately fulfill product orders and maintain clean workstations
• Handle guest transactions properly
• Assist with additional duties to support team and company success

Compensation

• $17.00 per hour, non-exempt
• Paid bi-weekly

Position Schedule

• Open availability required
• Part-time position

Skills And Competencies

• Customer service experience, preferably in fast-paced retail
• Cash handling and POS system skills
• Basic math, organizational, and computer skills
• Self-motivated, able to follow instructions and work independently or with colleagues
• Strong communication, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, problem-solver, adaptable, friendly, self-aware
• Team-oriented attitude

Qualifications

• Retail experience (1+ years preferred)
• Cannabis industry experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Valid government-issued ID
• 21+ years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Dispensing Organization Agent ID Card as per state law

Working Conditions

• Physical exertion including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
• Environmental conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, noise, dust, chemicals, and safety hazards
