General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures our Customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean work area, proper merchandise presentation, and performing various store tasks as needed to meet customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and maintain awareness to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Greet customers, assist with merchandise, and handle customer questions courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and merchandise.
• Support loss prevention and follow all safety and security policies.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash and credit card processing.
• Perform other store duties as required to support team and customer satisfaction.

• Manage work processes, build talent, collaborate, and communicate effectively.
• Lead by example and ensure accountability and execution.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required

• Effective communication with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Basic mathematical skills for retail transactions.

Physical Requirements/Ada

• Ability to use store equipment and spend significant time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
• Ability to lift and push items over 25 pounds as needed.
• Additional qualifications may be required for specific roles such as stockroom shifts.
