GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. This includes greeting customers courteously, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation. The Associate will perform various tasks across store areas as needed, contributing to customer service and operational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and maintaining a secure shopping environment.
• Maintain awareness on the sales floor, keep exits clear, and report unsafe conditions.
• Treat all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; recognize fellow Associates.
• Assist Customers with merchandise, answer questions, and provide prompt service.
• Handle Customer issues courteously, escalating to Store Leadership when necessary.
• Support the Company brand and maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform cleaning tasks regularly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure store is organized, merchandised, and replenished according to standards.
• Expedite merchandise to the sales floor efficiently and maintain product knowledge.
• Understand loss prevention policies and safeguard company assets.
• Handle transactions accurately and follow all policies regarding cash and refunds.
• Maximize productivity by executing store best practices efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

• Ability to use store equipment and spend time standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Push, pull, and lift over 25 pounds as needed.
