General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures our customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean work area, proper merchandise presentation, and performing various store functions as needed to meet customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and maintaining a secure shopping environment.
• Maintain a clutter-free sales floor, clear emergency exits, and report unsafe conditions.
• Greet customers courteously, assist with merchandise, and answer questions professionally.
• Handle customer issues promptly and courteously, involving leadership when necessary.
• Support the company brand and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a neat store.
• Assist with merchandise receiving, organization, and presentation according to company standards.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safeguard confidential information.
• Handle transactions accurately, following all policies and procedures.
• Maximize productivity by executing store best practices efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

Physical Requirements/ADA

• Ability to use store equipment and spend up to 100% of time standing and moving.
