Job summary

TEK Systems is seeking a Floor Associate for the Nintendo World Store in New York City. This seasonal, contract role supports customer service, product demos, and sales at the NYC store, with weekend availability and a focus on assisting customers with purchases.

Primary duties include cash handling, restocking, product information, and demonstrations. The role requires at least a high school diploma, cashier experience, and strong interpersonal skills; on-site work with a Black Friday/December

Qualifications

• Atleast one year of customer service experience in a retail environment
• MUST HAVE CASHIER EXPERIENCE - New req
• Experience in a video gaming or electronics environment is strongly preferred
• At least a high school diploma or GED is required
• Working knowledge of video gaming products and/or services
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and represent the company at a public level
• Ability to lift heavy objects or do continuous lifting while adhering to proper lifting techniques and ladder usage
• Ability to perform routine display repair and maintenance
• Associates are required to work at least 3 weekdays and have full weekend availability
• Schedule Blackout period applies to Black Friday and December.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
