The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for achieving sales goals by sharing your knowledge and passion for our seafood products in a polite, professional, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, greeting customers, cutting and packing orders, answering questions, processing transactions, and handling payments.

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding service in a welcoming environment.
• Assist customers with product and service questions and suggest appropriate alternatives.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge to provide additional value to customers.
• Receive deliveries and rotate products accordingly.
• Assist in housekeeping and merchandising, including monitoring, maintaining, and servicing the seafood display case.
• Maintain a clean work area to ensure sanitation standards.
• Contribute suggestions for continuous improvement of retail operations.
• Manage telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
• Organize workflow to meet deadlines.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to work safely.
• Handle products properly to ensure maximum shelf life and sanitation.
• Report product or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Clean work station and department at shift end.
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
