The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for achieving sales goals by sharing your knowledge and passion for our seafood products in a polite, professional, and efficient manner. The position requires delivering exceptional customer service, including but not limited to greeting customers, providing a comfortable shopping experience, cutting and packing orders, answering questions, processing point-of-sale transactions, and handling payments.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing outstanding service in a welcoming environment to exceed customer expectations.
• Answering product and service questions, suggesting appropriate alternatives.
• Developing and maintaining product knowledge to add value to customers.
• Receiving deliveries and rotating products accordingly.
• Assisting with housekeeping and merchandising duties, including monitoring and maintaining the seafood display case.
• Maintaining a clean work area to ensure high sanitation standards.
• Suggesting continuous improvements for retail operations.
• Managing telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
• Organizing workflow to meet deadlines effectively.
• Following all safety policies and procedures to work safely.
• Handling products properly to maximize shelf life and sanitation.
• Reporting product or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Cleaning the work station and department at the end of each shift.
• Communicating quality issues to supervisors.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
