Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing knowledgeable service on commercial foodservice products.
• Guide customers through product selection based on their needs for commercial kitchens, restaurants, bars, or home use.
• Operate the POS system to complete transactions accurately.
• Answer inbound calls for catalog sales and cross-sell items.
• Source new sales opportunities via inbound leads, follow-ups, and emails.
• Explain features and benefits, quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales orders/reports.
• Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized showroom.
• Receive and unpack deliveries; assist in inventory management and cycle counts.
• Monitor product displays for cleanliness, currency, and proper pricing.
• Support wholesale and professional accounts with inquiries and order pickups.
• Attend manufacturer trainings to expand product knowledge.

Position Summary:

The Retail Associate supports both industry professionals and the general public in a cash-and-carry retail environment, offering expert assistance with high-quality kitchen equipment, supplies, and smallware's.

Essential Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing knowledgeable service on commercial foodservice products.
• Guide customers through product selection based on their needs, whether for commercial kitchens, restaurants, bars, or home use.
• Operate the point-of sale (POS) system efficiently to complete transactions accurately.
• Answer inbound phone calls for catalog sales with the expectations of cross-selling additional items.
• Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound leads, follow-up calls, and emails timely.
• Retain and emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
• Restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized and professional showroom.
• Receive and unpack deliveries; assist in inventory management and cycle counts.
• Monitor and ensure product displaces are clean, current, and properly priced.
• Support wholesale and professional accounts with product inquiries and order pickups.
• Attend manufacturer trainings sessions to learn and expand on product knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
