Job summary

Batteries Plus- Central Georgia in Macon, GA seeks a Retail Associate for a full-time role with pay of $14–$16 per hour. You will greet customers, answer questions, and suggest add-ons while helping with battery and tech-related challenges.

You will assist with inventory, merchandising, and store operations, with opportunities to learn battery installation and repairs including key cutting and rebuilds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of prior work experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical aptitude and the ability to work with small tools and parts.
• Strong listening, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to calculate basic math and read gauges.
• Valid driver's license preferred with a clean driving record.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally more.
• Willingness to learn technical skills, including battery installation, cell phone and tablet repair, key cutting, and battery pack rebuilds.

RETAIL ASSOCIATE DAY TO DAY LIFE:

This is a Part-time position offering a flexible schedule. As a Retail Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and recommending add-on items that help meet their needs. You will participate in retail and commercial sales efforts to help achieve store goals while assisting customers with battery, bulb, and technology-related challenges. Throughout the day, you will perform technical tasks such as battery installation, cell phone and tablet repair, key cutting, and battery pack rebuilds. You will also assist with inventory management, merchandising, and overall store operations. In addition, you will help keep the store clean, organized, and safe while supporting deliveries and store opening and closing procedures. Every day will provide opportunities to learn valuable technical skills, contribute to the success of the team, and deliver dependable solutions!
