Job summary

Hudson, North America’s leading travel retailer, is hiring a Sales Associate to work at Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport in our Duty Free Stores. You will deliver excellent customer service, greet customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store organized.

This role offers hourly pay of $16.50, the chance to work with a dynamic team, daily pay option, employee discounts, PTO and benefits such as health coverage.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse personalities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and stay organized.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift.
• Capability to lift 40-60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by creating a fantastic shopping experience and being a great team player.
• Be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Welcome and greet customers with a friendly smile.
• Communicate well with customers, coworkers, and store management.
• Become familiar with merchandise to help customers and answer questions.
• Operate a cash register efficiently, including credit card transactions.
• Follow company policies, including cash handling and loss prevention procedures.
• Inform management about pricing, inventory, and out-of-date issues.
• Protect company assets and stock merchandise in the store and backroom.
• Organize damaged products and notify management of out-of-stock items.
• Keep the store clean by sweeping, dusting, organizing merchandise, and taking out the trash.
• Work with stock team to continuously replenish stock on the sales floor.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.
