Job summary

Insa Cannabis is hiring a Retail Associate in Hartford to deliver exceptional customer service and product guidance. You will process transactions, restock shelves, and assist customers with regulatory compliance while maintaining store standards.

Candidates should be at least 21, with a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills. A reliable commute and the ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service.
• Educate customers on the brand, product options, and regulatory compliance.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a computerized system.
• Contribute to meeting the company’s sales goals by following Insa sales standards.
• Perform order fulfillment and restocking as needed.
• Protect the stability and reputation of the stores by complying with state regulations and company policies and follow operational procedures as outlined.
• Authorize facility access for employees, customers, and visitors by checking IDs, providing escorts, and completing and retaining applicable records.
• Accommodate a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliant with company SOPs and state regulations; Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management.
• Behave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork
• Perform other duties as assigned

Description

The Retail Associate is responsible for interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service through product knowledge and product recommendations, while following company sales methods to contribute to sales expectations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist.
• Visual acuity is needed for viewing computer screens and fine print.
• Manual dexterity needed for performing transactions.
• Busy retail environment with moderate noise level
• Indoor/outdoor environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes
• High volume work during peak hours, events, and holidays

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.52

Insa is a multi-state employer, and this is the company-wide pay range. Offers will be provided in accordance with state-specific minimum wage guidelines.
