Position Title: Retail Associate

Reports to: Retail Supervisor(s), Assistant Retail Operations Manager, Retail Operations Manager

Responsibilities

1. Fulfill guest needs promptly and efficiently.
2. Inform retail leadership when item quantities are low or if there are special requests, working with the warehouse team to fulfill such requests.
3. Relay customer feedback directly to supervisors.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
5. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
6. Perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service steps to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.
7. Check and stock supplies in the counter area, floor displays, stands, and cabinets neatly and promptly.
8. Clean tables, chairs, and equipment as needed.
9. Keep the work and service areas free of debris.
10. Manage the cash drawer accurately.
11. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
12. Merchandise products to maximize sales.
13. Increase sales through promotional items and suggestive selling.
14. Support sustainability and conservation efforts, demonstrating knowledge and teaching staff as necessary.
15. Engage in community efforts through hiring, engagement activities, and giving back initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including POS systems and Excel.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes (10-35 lbs).
• Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Previous Experience
