Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Jacksonville, FL to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure profitability through merchandising, inventory control, and cost management.

You will lead and develop the store team, uphold company policies, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining standards across multiple locations in the district. The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in retail management.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically, plan and organize.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and performance of store staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead and train store personnel; uphold training standards.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and development.
• Support annual performance evaluations.
• Assist with expense management and budgeting alignment.
• Monitor shrink and loss control; ensure budget targets.
• Ensure safety and business standards.
• Provide training on selling techniques.
• Ensure outstanding customer service.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A standard work week not to exceed 40 hours; flexible schedule including days/nights/weekends/holidays.
