Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in El Paso, TX to partner with the Store Manager and lead daily operations, coach the team, and deliver outstanding customer service while driving store performance.

You will develop team members, manage inventory, handle cash procedures, and support sales growth across a diverse merchandise assortment, including jewelry and electronics. Competitive pay: $13–$17 per hour with commission and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising retail staff
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong customer service and problem solving
• Flexible schedule including weekends
• Bilingual applicants encouraged

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories
