Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Harrisburg, PA to support daily store operations and team development. You will assist with customer service, merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention while ensuring the store meets company standards.

The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to lead a high-energy team in a fast-paced retail environment, with focus on safety, efficiency, and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and fixtures to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep bathrooms, floors, and stockrooms clean and organized.
