Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager in daily store operations.
• Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach, train, and develop store employees.
• Maintain positive customer/donor relations, resolve complaints, and ensure efficient service.
• Communicate personnel issues with management; handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure store standards, inventory levels, and processing goals are met.
• Safeguard cash and bank cash receipts per policy.
• Assist in safety measures and loss prevention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
• Proficient in POS/cash handling.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Pass background check.
• Effective communication skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive motions.

Schedule

Stores operate 7 days/week. Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Salvation Army complies with COVID-19 safety measures, including vaccination requirements, with exemptions considered for religious or medical reasons.
