Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and coach a fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will act as manager on duty, oversee training, scheduling, and brand standards while fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment.

The role emphasizes people, performance, and process: executing merchandising plans, managing inventory and POS systems, resolving customer issues, and ensuring store safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when the Store Manager is not present.
• Lead and train store staff using LIDS Training Programs and set goals for sales and tasks.
• Administer disciplinary steps with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure a respectful, inclusive team environment and adherence to Lids Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including coverage during peak periods.
