Position Overview

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring store efficiency and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Guide and prioritize tasks for store staff.
• Motivate and train employees to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training new staff.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
• Prepare food and beverages as required.
• Ensure a safe work environment and perform loss prevention duties.
• Maintain and clean equipment properly.
• Manage sales and inventory accounting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 19+ years old to sell tobacco and alcohol.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate cash registers and computers, perform basic math.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
