We are seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team! The position offers an hourly wage of $13.00 to $17.00 per hour, with an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $5.21 per hour ON TOP OF YOUR HOURLY RATE.

Position Summary

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for daily store operations, promoting a positive environment, leading and developing staff, recruiting, and achieving financial goals. This role involves analyzing financial statements, asset protection, customer relations, and managing a wide range of merchandise including jewelry, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Compensation includes hourly wages, commissions, and performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and address issues promptly.
• Train and develop staff, including Pawnbrokers.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, manage cash and merchandise, and ensure asset protection.
• Handle inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting.
• Drive profitability by analyzing financial data and setting goals.
• Monitor loan quality and store standards.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Effective supervisory skills.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age 18, High School Diploma or GED.
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations and on a retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and cash handling experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Independent work capability and strong work ethic.
