Job summary

Cash America Pawn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team in a fast-paced retail environment. Earn $13.00-$17.50 per hour with unlimited commission and a store performance bonus, plus comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

You will partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, coach staff, and drive profitability while delivering outstanding customer service across diverse merchandise including jewelry, electronics and tools.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching and customer service skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Coach, train and develop team members to meet company standards
• Assist with recruiting, hiring and retaining top talent
• Help drive store sales, profitability and performance goals
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and procedures
• Monitor loan and buying transactions for compliance and accuracy
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards
• Analyze performance metrics and support business objectives
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Previous leadership, key‑holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas

Commission Information
