$13.00 to $17.00 per hour

Position Summary

We seek an Assistant Store Manager with at least six months of management or third-key experience. Responsible for daily store operations, team development, recruiting, financial management, and customer satisfaction, fostering a customer-centric environment.

Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, asset protection, promoting the business, and managing a diverse merchandise range including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (*in FFL locations), etc.

This role offers hourly pay plus commissions and performance bonuses. Actual pay varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager

  • Engage customers professionally and address issues promptly.
  • Train and develop pawnbrokers to meet standards.
  • Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, manage cash and merchandise, follow procedures for asset protection.
  • Manage inventory, loans, merchandising, reporting, and store presentation.
  • Analyze financial data and drive profitability.
  • Ensure standards are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor loan and purchase processes for integrity.
  • Participate in self-development and training.
  • Communicate store goals and standards clearly to staff.
  • Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective supervision skills.
  • Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
  • Minimum age 18, high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Work 40+ hours weekly, with computer literacy and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in cash handling, detail-oriented, organized, analytical, independent work ethic.
