$17.00 to $20.00 per hour

Description

We are seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager with at least six months of management or third key experience. Responsible for daily store operations, team development, recruiting, financial goal achievement, and customer satisfaction. Sets a customer-centric tone and partners with the Store Manager to analyze financial statements and promote asset protection and customer acquisition. The role involves working with various merchandise including jewelry, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Compensation includes hourly wages, commissions, and performance bonuses.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
  • Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, manage cash and merchandise, and follow security procedures.
  • Control inventory, manage loans, and ensure store presentation and reporting standards.
  • Analyze financial statements and drive profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Monitor loan processes for integrity and value.
  • Participate in self-development training.
  • Communicate store mission and goals effectively.
  • Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective supervision skills.
  • Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
  • Minimum age 18, High School Diploma or GED.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple locations and weekends/holidays.
  • 40+ hours/week, with hours based on business needs.
  • Computer literacy, multi-tasking, organizational, analytical skills, and cash handling experience.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Commission Plan

Potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit, details provided during interview.
