Job description

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  1. Accountable for the store's controllable profit, advising the General Manager weekly on progress and implementing actions to improve profitability.
  2. Responsible for accurate and efficient merchandise processing, providing feedback to Merchandising Stock Associates, and identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve processes.
  3. Partner with the General Manager to manage store assets by monitoring inventory levels, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring proper merchandise flow and replenishment.
  4. Lead store opening processes in the absence of other managers, including completing morning reports and following freight and operational guidelines. Serve as Leader on Duty as directed.
  5. Ensure safety and security as an External Key Carrier, including managing alarm systems, cash handling, and store balancing during openings and closings.
  6. Maintain merchandise presentation standards, complete EBW and POG updates, manage RCC/buyback transactions, and ensure signage and visual standards are met.
  7. Ensure compliance with loss prevention policies, assist with cash reconciliation, and promote a safe working environment.
  8. Complete management training, including Anti-Harassment, Discrimination, and Code of Ethics, and maintain necessary certifications.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years of retail supervisory experience in a sales-driven, customer-oriented environment.
