The Assistant Team Leader (ATL) oversees the successful operation of the front-end of the store, leading a passionate sales team to ensure excellent customer experiences. Responsibilities include associate development, customer service, asset protection, and store maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll, expenses, banking, shrink reduction, and related reports to meet financial and operational goals.
  • Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in all customer and associate interactions.
  • Maintain store standards and ensure company programs meet operational expectations.
  • Oversee the proper maintenance of the store’s front-end, entrance, and exterior.
  • Assign daily tasks to associates and monitor productivity.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
  • Assist with hiring, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and staffing needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience with a mid to large-sized retailer.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid Driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.
