Position Overview

As a full-time Assistant Manager, you are the Store Manager’s "right hand" in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading brand experience of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into highly effective connectors who consistently provide an unforgettable WOW experience for all guests. With your support, your team achieves revenue targets, prioritizes philanthropic impact, and delivers operational excellence! Most importantly, you and your team represent the Kendra Scott culture uniquely and positively!

Your Responsibilities
  1. Customer Focused: Model, teach, and coach WOW service with a “customer is our boss” mentality. Use WOW Service Principles to connect with every guest and make a difference in their day! Train and develop others to ensure WOW experiences. Ensure all guests feel welcome and part of our family.
  2. Drive Results: Drive sales by maximizing store productivity and building guest connections through WOW experiences. Develop short and long-term business plans to drive KPIs. Take ownership over responsibilities to positively impact store performance.
  3. Develop Talent: Motivate and inspire your team through feedback and recognition. Lead by example, create positive guest experiences, and foster team engagement and growth.
  4. Build Networks: Increase brand awareness through philanthropic efforts and community initiatives. Achieve event and giveback goals. Attract new customers through traffic-driving efforts.
  5. Instill Trust: Demonstrate honesty and integrity. Follow policies and procedures, ensure audit and shrink results meet standards, and do the right thing always.
  6. Communicate Effectively: Articulate clear messages, provide ongoing feedback, listen actively, and encourage open expression of diverse opinions.
  7. Be Nimble: Adapt to support different areas of the business, learn from experiences, and be flexible and curious.
  8. Collaborate: Leverage team skills and knowledge, share ideas, and create mutual accountability.
  9. Action Oriented: Approach opportunities and challenges with energy and urgency. Use reports and trends to make real-time decisions to meet financial goals.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach
  • Stand and/or walk for at least 6 hours per shift
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
