Endeavor is seeking a Retail Assistant Property Manager to join our Retail Property Management Team located at 500 West 5th Street, Suite 700. The Retail Assistant Property Manager manages properties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards. This individual will develop knowledge and skill in the areas of lease administration, income/expense management and administration, physical facilities management, and tenant relations. The Retail Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for the daily preparation and maintenance of basic accounting data. This is an exempt position.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist with the field activities associated with a portfolio of retail properties
  • Supervise vendors (landscaping, porter, etc.) on day to day activities
  • Field, track and respond to tenant service requests
  • Perform regular property inspections and make a detailed report
  • Assist in the development of operating and capital budgets
  • Assist in preparation of monthly reports for owner, identify variances
  • Input leases, tenant data and invoices to create and maintain computer based account files
  • Prepare financial and management reports as required
  • Track certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors and send letters when certificate has expired
  • Generate system aged receivables report to track and report aged items
  • Prepare lease commencement letters, delivery letters, and construction plan approval letters for each new lease and/or amendments to the lease
  • Prepare and submit annual operating expense escalation/reconciliation letters for each tenant

Qualifications

  • High School graduate with minimum 4+ years of business related experience; degree preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with accounting software preferred (e.g. Yardi)
  • Excellent internal and external customer service
