Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an Assistant Manager to support sales, operations and services across the store. You will lead with the General Manager to improve store performance and execute company goals, while mentoring sales floor staff and coordinating cross-training.

You will analyze KPIs, align actions with business strategies, and drive customer experiences across departments. This role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and operational excellence in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a supervisor or manager in business, military or related fields.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue.
• Consumer electronics industry experience.
• Prior experience setting retail sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage store leadership duties to deploy employees and deliver great customer experiences.
• Manage employee experiences, development and performance.
• Analyze performance indicators against business strategies and drive results.
• Monitor results to identify opportunities and improve customer and employee experience.
• Deploy resources in-store and in customers’ homes, including shift leads and third-party labor.
• Partner with the General Manager to train associates across departments.
