WSS is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Neighborhood Shoe Store in California. You will lead daily operations, drive sales, and coach a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Become the product knowledge expert and promote a culture of fast, effective issue resolution to ensure a seamless shopping experience. You will manage inventory, cash handling, scheduling, and budget adherence while developing Supervisors and Team Members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 3+ years of retail management experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, POS, and Time Keeping systems; able to read financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and coach the team.
• Analyze store data and KPIs to drive performance and customer service.
• Monitor KPIs to track sales, satisfaction, and productivity.
• Focus on driving conversion through exceptional service and engagement.
• Oversee inventory, cash handling, scheduling, and budget adherence.
• Recruit and develop Supervisors and Team Members; provide coaching and recognition.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization on the floor, parking lot, and back office.
