R301US Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Houston, TX store. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and delivering outstanding customer service to help achieve store goals.

This position requires retail experience, strong communication, and leadership in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise staff in the Store Manager's absence and assist with scheduling, training, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet goals.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Fill in for Store Manager in their absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Assist in recruiting, training and evaluating staff.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and expenses to support profitability.
