Dollar Tree Stores in Eureka, Missouri is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will assist the Store Manager, help develop team members, and ensure merchandise is well displayed and organized across the sales floor and stockroom.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking and standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment with strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards and protect store assets.
• Assist in training and developing Store Associates and ensure a safe environment.
