Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development at our Kenedy, Texas location. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is properly organized from delivery to sales floor while maintaining seasonal areas.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and strong communication skills. Prior store management experience is preferred, along with the ability to lift up to 55 lbs

• Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Provide great customer service and address questions and concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and payroll/scheduling tasks as applicable.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of store associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Protect company assets including cash and inventory.
