Job summary

Sunglass Hut is seeking an Assistant Manager I to join our leadership team. This role partners with the Store/Multi Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, coach associates, manage merchandising, and lead talent acquisition while upholding brand standards.

The position emphasizes on-floor leadership, customer relationship management, and operational excellence within a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Demonstrates expertise in store operations and execution.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to coach and develop associates and maintain brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales plan and develop associates to meet objectives.
• Use reporting tools to identify gaps and capitalize on successes.
• Provide ongoing coaching to associates and maintain an inspiring work environment.
• Participate in talent acquisition and interview in partnership with management.
• Spend majority of time on the sales floor to lead by example.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and brand knowledge.
• Ensure execution of brand standards and merchandising policies.
• Communicate promotions and incentives clearly to the team.
