Shamrock Cleaners in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure smooth store operations and adherence to company guidelines. You will oversee front customer service and back‑of‑house activities, and assist the General Manager with training.

The ideal candidate has prior retail management experience, strong leadership, and excellent people skills. You will be hands-on in all areas, greet customers warmly, manage POS transactions, and foster a positive, results‑driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous retail management experience.
• Excellent team building and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all operating standards and procedures pertaining to the daily operation and management of the store.
• Take in customer garments. Input into the POS system. Complete transactions.
• Assist in the overall management of the operation.
• Greet customers warmly and develop rapport to encourage repeat business.
• Assist the Store Manager with hiring, training, and monitoring employee performance.
• Foster a positive work environment.
