Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in North Adams, MA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities and help maintain clean, organized merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and stores management experience in retail or grocery settings is preferred. You will lead parts of the schedule, payroll tasks, and loss-prevention efforts while delivering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

• Ability to lead and develop store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and promotional materials.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged goods.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and follow policies.
• Help train and develop store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
