Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Plainview, TX location. The role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and customer service, ensuring store goals are met and policies are followed.

As Assistant Manager, you will handle supervisory duties in the Store Manager's absence, train team members, help with scheduling and restocking, and promote our merchandise while delivering outstanding service to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, footwear and athletic apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong customer service focus.
• Self-starting with initiative to take on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Supervise store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Recruiting, training, and evaluating store personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to maintain department responsibilities and standards.
• Maintain exceptional customer service per policies and manuals.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
