We are seeking a dependable and motivated Retail Assistant Manager who enjoys working as part of a team, is interested in continued career growth in retail, and is excited to take on greater leadership responsibilities within the company.

A successful Assistant Manager is confident supporting staff, maintaining store standards, and stepping into leadership responsibilities when needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum 2 years of previous retail management experience required
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented
- Experience with cash handling, scheduling, and general retail operations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift and move items up to 40–50 lbs as needed
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements
- Comfortable working in a physically active, customer-facing environment
Responsibilities:
Store Operations
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Help execute merchandising and promotional displays
- Open and close the store as needed, including cash handling and deposits
Customer Experience
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Lead the team in creating a welcoming and helpful shopping environment
- Address escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution
Sales & Performance
- Support the team in achieving sales goals and performance targets
- Coach associates on product knowledge and selling techniques
- Monitor store performance and help identify opportunities for improvement
Team Leadership
- Assist with training, coaching, and motivating retail associates
- Help ensure proper shift coverage
- Provide feedback to the Store Manager on team performance
- Lead the team in the Store Manager’s absence
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers
- Support loss prevention efforts
Work Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekends
Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
