Job summary

Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager for our Johnstown, Ohio location.

This full-time role involves supervising staff, enhancing donations processing, and maintaining engaging product displays while delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will manage a 36–40 hour work week, coordinate flexible scheduling, and support training initiatives across the store team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or supervisory role preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise staff, train teammates, and manage daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees with enthusiasm and lead by example.
• Sort and price donations and maintain product displays.
• Ensure excellent customer service and store cleanliness.
• Coordinate schedules and provide support for a flexible timetable.
• Support training and development of the team.

Requirements

• Must have open availability
• Have previous management experience
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time as well as bend, twist, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.
