Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Leads a store business unit, focusing on creating a consistent and positive customer experience. Assists in supervising and overseeing all team members and business operations, including production, retail processes, pick-up and delivery, shipping, and quality control. Manages the store in the absence of the Store Manager. The Store Assistant Manager performs all functions normally performed by team members.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrates consultative behaviors to ensure friendly, polite, and expert service to all customers.
  • Evaluates team members' efficiency and productivity in creating positive customer experiences.
  • Resolves customer disputes and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Creates a customer-focused environment across all store areas and maintains cleanliness and professionalism.
  • Establishes and manages customer flow processes to enhance service and product delivery.
  • Provides training and feedback to team members on shifts.
  • Participates in hiring processes and assists in onboarding new team members.
  • Coaches, counsels, and provides performance feedback to team members.
  • Maintains communication with the Store Lead Consultant and production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Oversees shipping services and activities.
  • Communicates store goals, performance metrics, customer issues, and initiatives to the team.
  • Enforces company policies and maintains control environments.
  • Assists in payroll review and daily POS close-out.
  • Performs administrative duties like scheduling, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and twist at waist and knees.
  • Effective communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and follow instructions.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain attention and concentration over extended periods.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Regular attendance supporting business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:

Pay range: $20.25 - $24.79/hr. Compensation may include additional pay, bonuses, and benefits such as health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
