Summary

The Assistant Manager (AM) supports the General Manager (GM) in leading and coaching staff to enhance guest experience. The AM is fully responsible for store operations in the GM’s absence.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure excellent service delivery to guests.
  • Develop passion for Sudden Service’s culture and values, and foster it in others.
  • Model company culture and core values.
  • Train, develop, and lead team members to exceed guest expectations.
  • Provide daily coaching to staff on store culture and standards.
  • Maintain product quality, merchandising, inventory, and cleanliness standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years retail or hospitality experience.
  • Equivalent education and experience accepted.
  • Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for career growth in self and others.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Sufficient visual ability for ID checks and credit card processing.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Experience in C-Store or food service.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Bilingual abilities encouraged.
