Position Summary

Leads a store business unit, focusing on creating a consistent and positive customer experience. Assists in supervising all team members and business operations, monitoring and facilitating production, retail processes, pick-up and delivery, shipping, and quality control. Manages the store in the absence of the Store Manager. The Store Assistant Manager performs all functions normally performed by team members.

General Duties and Responsibilities

(This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform, and is not all-inclusive)

  • Demonstrates consultative behaviors to ensure friendly, polite, expert service to all customers
  • Evaluates the efficiency and productivity of team members in creating positive customer experiences
  • Resolves customer disputes and complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • Creates a customer-focused environment across store areas and maintains a clean, professional environment
  • Establishes and manages customer flow processes to improve service and ensure needs are met quickly
  • Provides training and development to team members, monitoring goals and providing feedback
  • Participates in hiring processes, complying with company policies
  • Coaches, counsels, and provides feedback to team members on performance
  • Maintains communication with Store Lead and production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Oversees shipping services and activities
  • Communicates with the Store Manager and team about goals, performance metrics, customer issues, and initiatives
  • Enforces company policies and procedures, maintaining controls
  • Assists in payroll review and daily POS close-out
  • Performs administrative duties such as scheduling, inventory management, and supplies ordering
  • Performs other duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related experience, supervisory experience preferred
Essential Functions
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding breaks
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend and twist at waist and knees
  • Effective communication with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to work cooperatively and follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Maintain attention and concentration over extended periods
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Regular attendance and adherence to business hours
Preferred Qualifications

Salary range: $20.25 - $24.79/hr. Compensation depends on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
