Job summary

Paradise Valley Country Club, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Assistant to join our team in Paradise Valley, AZ.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional member service, managing merchandise flow from delivery to display, and maintaining high-visibility visual merchandising in the Golf and Racquets Shop areas. You will help control inventory levels, coordinate soft-good orders, and support monthly inventory processes while ensuring club rules and standards are followed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent high level of customer service to the membership and their guests.
• Effectively assist with the merchandise flow from delivery to display on the shop floor.
• Maintaining superior visual merchandising displays in the Golf Shop and Racquets Shop while ensuring daily standards are upheld.
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels in the Golf Shop; place fill-in stock orders with approval from the Director of Retail.
• Manage and oversee the soft-good special order book and procedure, including placing and following through with orders.
• Assist in running smooth inventories at the end of each month.
• Assist with ordering, organizing, distributing, and maintaining of club uniforms.
• Keep storage rooms neat and organized.
• Understand and enforce club rules and policies.

Job Description

• Provide a consistent high level of customer service to the membership and their guests.
• Effectively assist with the merchandise flow from delivery to display on the shop floor. This includes unpacking shipments, receiving into POS, pricing, and creating/assisting with merchandise displays.
• Maintaining superior visual merchandising displays in the Golf Shop and Racquets Shop while ensuring daily standards are upheld.
• Assist in making sure proper inventory levels are maintained in the Golf Shop; Placing fill-in stock orders with approval from the Director of Retail.
• Manage and oversee the soft-good special order book and procedure. This includes placing, monitoring, and complete follow-through with soft-good special orders.
• Assist in the running of smooth and accurate inventories at the end of each month.
• Assist with the ordering, organizing, distributing, and maintaining of club uniforms.
• Keep storage rooms neat and organized.
• Understand and enforce club rules and policies.

Education and/or Experience

Associate degree (A.A) or bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
