Job summary

Paradise Valley Country Club, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal, Full-Time Retail Assistant in Paradise Valley, AZ. You will support member services, manage merchandise flow, and uphold high visual standards in Golf and Racquets Shops.

The position requires flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, holidays, and weekends, with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lb. Benefits include clothing allowance, golf privileges, and meals while on duty. Experience in retail merchandising is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service to members and guests.
• Assist with merchandise flow from delivery to display, including receiving into POS, pricing, and displays.
• Maintain superior visual merchandising in Golf Shop and Racquets Shop.
• Help maintain inventory levels in Golf Shop; place fill-in stock orders with approval.
• Oversee soft-good special orders and ensure follow-through.
• Assist with monthly inventories.
• Assist with ordering, organizing, distributing, and maintaining club uniforms.
• Keep storage rooms neat and organized.
• Understand and enforce club rules and policies.

Paradise Valley Country Club is seeking a Seasonal, Full-Time Retail Assistant. Job Description:

• Provide a consistent high level of customer service to the membership and their guests.
• Effectively assist with the merchandise flow from delivery to display on the shop floor. This includes unpacking shipments, receiving into POS, pricing, and creating/assisting with merchandise displays.
• Maintaining superior visual merchandising displays in the Golf Shop and Racquets Shop while ensuring daily standards are upheld.
• Assist in making sure proper inventory levels are maintained in the Golf Shop; Placing fill-in stock orders with approval from the Director of Retail.
• Manage and oversee the soft-good special order book and procedure. This includes placing, monitoring, and complete follow-through with soft-good special orders.
• Assist in the running of smooth and accurate inventories at the end of each month.
• Assist with the ordering, organizing, distributing, and maintaining of club uniforms.
• Keep storage rooms neat and organized.
• Understand and enforce club rules and policies.

Requirements:

• Skills/Characteristics: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Service oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills to engage members, guests, and fellow team members effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Point of Sale systems.

• Must be able to carry, push, and pull minimum 50lb boxes
• Experience preferred in a retail setting with visual merchandising tasks and folding upkeep
