Job summary

Story Cannabis is seeking an Assistant General Manager to develop a high-performing team and drive top-line sales growth in our Ohio dispensary. You will oversee customer service, training, product knowledge, inventory controls, and compliance to ensure excellence across operations.

You will coach and mentor staff, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with marketing, retail ops, and supply chain to optimize labor and sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume retail environment with previous cannabis experience preferred.
• Experience with point of sales systems and backend compliance tools, such as Dutchie and Metrc.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to recruit and train staff.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Analytical with the ability to set and track store KPIs.
• Open availability with no scheduling conflicts.

Overview:

• Must be able to occasionally lift 50+ pounds.
