Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in Asset Protection / Loss Prevention or security preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be flexible to work any shift including weekends, and be on call 24/7, any day of the year.
• Self-motivated; must be able to work with little or no supervision during shift.
• Excellent organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
• First Aid, CPR, AED certification preferred (certification will be required during employment)
• Possess basic Microsoft skills (Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Checks associate ID badges to control facility egress and logs visitors/contractors.
• Maintains knowledge of CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systems.
• Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures.
• Conducts daily and monthly audits and facility inspections.
• Initiates internal/external investigations from inspections findings.
• Logs inbound/outbound trailers in yard management system and coordinates dock locations.
• Inspects trailers/containers for damage or tampering and documents anomalies.
• Secures facility and truck gate during non-operational hours.
• Provides after-hour security service/surveillance to associates in times of need.
• Creates incident/injury reports and applies first aid when needed.
