Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Asset Protection Solution Officer to safeguard a distribution center, monitor access and equipment, and respond to incidents. The role focuses on protecting assets, identifying risks, and maintaining security systems, with a second shift Sunday through Thursday, 2 PM–10 PM local time.

The position requires basic skills in Word and Excel, the ability to write reports, and a willingness to be trained in First Aid and AED. Strong time management and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending solutions.
• Experience with time management and meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
• Willing to be trained in First Aid and AED.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (formatting, editing).
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting).
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Experience writing correspondence and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitors traffic into and out of property to protect assets and ensures security procedures are followed.
• Identifies exposure to merchandise loss and safety risks, reporting them accordingly.
• Operates asset protection systems and facility security devices to protect assets.
• Responds as a first responder to incidents and emergency situations, providing basic aid if needed.
• Maintains knowledge of facility operations and asset protection policies and procedures.
• Conducts audits and prepares detailed incident reports on inquiries related to loss or safety.
